Great house for 3 families staying together

Our 3 families shared the house for a pre Christmas break. The house is delightful. Spotlessly clean, loads of parking, well proportioned and easy to use. Plenty of bathrooms, spacious open plan living that spreads out into a lovely garden. Barbecued every night. The Bull pub a short walk away, great Sunday lunch. Very quiet spot bang in the middle of the countryside, kids loved the horses that are stabled nearby. Short drive to the beach, Brighton nearby. We will definitely be back. Thanks Andrew

If you go down to the woods today

We checked into Ditchling Retreat Friday 23rd Nov at 2pm. What a perfect start to an amazing weekend. Andrew made us feel welcome, showed us around the spacious open-plan cottage and even pointed out where the local pub, The Bull, was. The food there is divine!! There were 12 Hens in our group, and we all fit comfortably in Ditchling Retreat. The property is immaculately clean and has all the comforts of a home from home. The bedrooms are a great size with comfy beds and an en suite in the larger bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need. The lounge is spacious with a large flat screen TV, and, at the back of the property, there is a large conservatory that served well as a dining room. It’s located about 15 min drive from Brighton, which means you are close enough to take advantage of all the seaside town has to offer, such as fish and chips on the pier, cocktails in Bohemia and Karaoke in Lucky Voice. And far enough to hide away in the peaceful South Downs, well, if the hangover demands it anyway. We checked out Monday at a civilised 10:30. And Andrew was there to wave us on our way. Staying there suited the needs of our Hen party completely, and we would definitely recommend Ditching Retreat to our friends.
